Requirements- Electronics have to stay the same.
Dissected the old plane, and salvaged the electronics. I have to use the original electronics used in the yellow bee. I plan to use the fiberglass tail boom as a wing reinforcement in whatever design I choose.
As for the electronics, I will substitute an A123 6.6v battery or fresh NiMH cells instead of the old dead batteries and install a high current connector instead of the mini-tamiya style. I plan to replace the propellers (I only have one good one) with GWS 5030 propellers.
We have decided on a polyhedral flying wing design with a wingspan of 30" and a chord of 15". The motors will have 5* of upthrust and the wing will have 10* polyhedral.
